This Cookie Policy explains how Crestwel UK Limited("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on www.crestwellmedical.com , what they do, and how you can control them. It should be read with our Privacy Notice, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site recognise your device and remember information about your visit.

We also use similar technologies, and this policy covers them too. In this policy, "cookies" means all of these:

• Local and session storage — information stored by your browser for a website.
• Pixels and tags — tiny images or code snippets that tell a provider a page or email was viewed.
• Software development kits (SDKs) — code in apps that works like cookies. [Delete if you have no app.]

Cookies can be:

• First-party — set by us, on our domain.
• Third-party — set by another organisation, such as an analytics or advertising provider.
• Session — deleted when you close your browser.
• Persistent — kept until they expire or you delete them.

2. How we use cookies

We only set advertising and tracking cookies if you agree. The law lets us use some other cookies without asking first, but we tell you about them here and you can switch off the ones that aren't essential.

We do not use cookie walls: you can use our site whether or not you accept optional cookies.

3. The cookies we use

This table lists every cookie on our site. The rows below are common examples. Replace them with the results of your own audit.

Durations are the maximum. Third-party providers can change their cookies; we review this list [every six months] and whenever we add a new tool. For details of what third parties do with the data, see their own privacy policies (section 5).

4. Managing your choices

You can change your mind at any time, and it is as easy to withdraw consent as to give it.

• Our cookie banner. When you first visit, you can choose "Accept all", "Reject all" or "Manage settings".
• Cookie settings. Use the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page to switch categories on or off, including to object to functionality and analytics cookies. When you switch a category off, we stop setting those cookies and delete the ones we can reach.
• Your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. See the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.
• Provider opt-outs. You can also opt out directly with some providers, for example Google Analytics opt-out and Google ad settings. [Add others you use.]

We keep your choice for 6 months, then ask again. We also ask again if we add new cookies or purposes.

5. Cookies and your personal data

Some cookies collect personal data, such as your IP address or an online identifier. When they do, we handle that data as described in our Privacy Notice.

• Lawful basis. For advertising cookies, we rely on your consent. For exempt functionality and analytics cookies, we rely on our legitimate interests in running and improving our site, and you can object at any time. For strictly necessary cookies, we rely on legitimate interests or, where relevant, our contract with you.
• Third parties. Some providers in section 3 act as independent controllers of the data their cookies collect. See their policies: Google, Meta.
• International transfers. Some providers are based outside the UK, such as in the United States. Section 6 of our Privacy Notice explains how that data is protected.

We will update this policy when we change the cookies we use. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. If the change is significant, we will ask for your choices again through our cookie banner.
